I’ve created sets of role-playing game visual aids that help to flesh out characters and NPCs. I’m selling these sets as professionally printed cards through my Printer Studio shop. The sets of visuals are divided into different eras and within those eras to different themes or concepts. I’m giving away 6 samples of each set here. The samples are directly printable cards that can be printed to blank standard cards sized 63mm x 88mm with adequate printing bleed area. You can also much more easily, of course, get all these cards professionally printed and shipped to you using my Printer Studio online shop! Each set costs only about 20 euro/USD!

Pulp Era Characters – Men of Power 1

Those men who are calling the shots whether from the shadows or openly. Politicians, pillars of community, judges, mayors, industrial executives, club owners or even criminal master minds! The set gives you a selection of portraits in the form of 54 cards representing powerful individuals from the turn of the 20th century all the way to the 1930’s. This set is perfect for Cthulhu Mythos game masters but is completely systems agnostic.

Pulp Era Characters – Explorers 1

Daredevils and adventurers who go to places others may have never heard of. They are those who uncover strange new mysteries or face disappointment in the process. This set gives you a selection of portraits in the form of 27 male and 27 female characters as cards representing explorers. This set contains mostly explorers of the jungles and temples hidden inside them. Most of these are perfect fit for 1920’s and 1930’s. This set is perfect for Cthulhu Mythos game masters but is completely systems agnostic.

Pulp Era Characters – Academia 1

Scientists, teachers, lecturers and professors make up this set. Those who study, those who innovate and those who teach others to study and innovate. This set gives you a selection of 54 character cards representing many aspects of the academic circles. Most are men but some intrepid women are in the mix as well. These are perfect for the 1920’s and 1930’s and is most suitably used in the Call of Cthulhu Role-Playing Game and similar games set in that time period.

Pulp Era Characters – Entertainers 1

Dancers, actors, stage performers and musicians make up this set. These are the people who dedicate their lives to the performing arts whether to provide light entertainment, deep emotions or just because they are good at make-believe. This set gives you a selection of 54 character cards representing many aspects of the performing arts. A balanced mix of men and women. These are perfect for the 1920’s and 1930’s and is most suitably used in the Call of Cthulhu Role-Playing Game and similar games set in that time period.

Pulp Era Characters – Laborers 1

This set all about the blue collar workers who keep the wheels of the world turning. This set exclusively deals with working men and women of the docks. People who make sure that ships can dock, load, unload and undock as smoothly as possible. Most of these characters are dock workers but some are also city officials, regulatory inspectors and foremen. 54 male characters with some women as well. These are perfect for the 1920’s and 1930’s and is most suitably used in the Call of Cthulhu Role-Playing Game and similar games set in that time period.

Pulp Era Characters – Highsmith Manor

This set introduces you to the servants and residents of the Highsmith Manor. Something isn’t quite right about the place nor the people there. It is for you to figure out the mysteries involved! You get servants from gardeners, handymen, chauffeurs and stable masters all the way to a nanny, maids, cooks and butlers. But you also get the people of the Highsmith Clan: the secretive elderly ladies, the obnoxious nephews, the prodigal sons with their wives, the creepy twins, the visiting cousins, the patriarchal family leaders and their offspring. All in all, 54 characters who live and work in the vast manor’s premises. These are perfect for the 1920’s and 1930’s and is most suitably used in the Call of Cthulhu Role-Playing Game and similar games set in that time period.
